Law Firm SEO Case Studies
Five client results, each with the practice area, the work GLP did, the date range and the source of every number.
In short
GLP Marketing has five published case studies: Westview Law (employment law, Los Angeles), Burg & Brock (personal injury, Los Angeles), Onyx Law Group (family law and estate litigation, British Columbia), Cali Lemon Lawyers (lemon law, California) and The Bail Boys (bail bonds, Southern California). The two 2026 studies use Google Search Console clicks with stated date windows. The three older ones are as reported from Search Console screenshots captured at the time.

- What GLP did
- In January 2026 we built and launched a new website. We set up call tracking as well. Then on May 28th, 2026 we rebuilt the site and increased its number of pages to 95; this was up from 38 before. Pages now include city pages, practice pages, guides, attorney bios, and a glossary. And we continue with writing articles and making technical corrections as well.
- Date range
- March to May 2026 vs June to August 2026
- How this was measured
- For westviewlawpc.com, data from Google Search Console was pulled on September 26, 2026. Clicks from unpaid Google search results rose from 166 to 1,559. The domain itself is new, so these numbers reflect performance before and after a rebuild of the site, not before and after work done by GLP.

- What GLP did
- We replaced a website that was just one page with a larger English and Spanish website with more than 250 pages live as of June 2, 2026. Pages included cities, practice areas, attorney profiles and also published articles. We also fixed any redirects that needed fixing and continued publishing.
- Date range
- June to August 2025 vs June to August 2026
- How this was measured
- For www.burgbrock.com in Google Search Console data as of September 26, 2026, clicks from unpaid Google search results increased compared with the same period a year prior. For the same three months, clicks went up from 452 to 1,774. When Google tracks specific terms used for these clicks, the majority of clicks (418 out of 572) were for searches that included the company name.

- What GLP did
- The firm came to us after a year of flat traffic with another agency. We rebuilt the website, mapped keywords by practice area and city, built 50 city pages and published about 100 articles. We also handled on-page and technical SEO, the Google Business Profile and link building.
- Date range
- A 28-day window in September to October 2023 vs the same window in 2022
- How this was measured
- A Search Console screenshot on the case study page shows 15.8K clicks in a 28-day window in 2023 against 3.3K in the same window of 2022. The study calls these clicks monthly organic visitors. The data is from 2023 and has not been refreshed or re-pulled.
-
- What GLP did
- Transferred the website from an agency using a locked CMS to WordPress; we developed targeted pages for specific locations and manufacturers of cars, published content related to lemon laws as well, and managed things like technical SEO, local SEO, link building and tracking.
- Date range
- Exact dates are not stated on the study. Its “after” screenshot covers a 28-day window in 2023.
- How this was measured
- We show screenshots of Search Console data that were reported at that time on our case study page. We haven't refreshed this data so treat these numbers as reported information and not as re-verified data.

- What GLP did
- We moved more than 100 pages from an agency CMS that was locked down to WordPress. We then built pages for cities and produced educational content. We also worked on local search engine optimization (SEO) and building backlinks and ran an ad campaign with Microsoft Ads.
- Date range
- A 28-day window in 2022 vs the same window in 2021 (screenshots dated August and September 2022)
- How this was measured
- According to a screenshot of Search Console data from a case study page dated 2022, there were 280 clicks in an interval of 28 days in 2021 and 5,140 clicks in the same 28 day period in 2022. This study refers to those clicks as organic visitors for each month. Data is from 2022 and has not been refreshed or re-pulled.

Method
How GLP reports results
A case study is only useful if you know what has been measured. We have standardized our writing since 2026 and we will follow that standard for future studies as well:
- One metric Google measured. Clicks from unpaid Google Search results, taken from the client's Search Console. Not "visibility scores" or numbers from a third-party estimate tool.
- Equal windows, stated dates. Three months against three months; we can do them consecutively or spaced out a year apart so as to remove swings related to seasonality. Dates of pull go right on the page.
- The caveats next to the number. Low starting point; new domain; shares of searches that had already used the firm's name; and declining click through rate. If reading this changes your interpretation of what we're seeing, then we put those notes right there on the page.
- No lead or revenue claims we can't show. Clicks aren't clients. The newer studies say so instead of guessing at cases.
We wrote the studies for Onyx Law Group, Cali Lemon Lawyers and The Bail Boys before we adopted this format. We're keeping them up because work was done and we labeled them with what their numbers are and how old they are.
What we report to our clients goes beyond just this; we include things like calls, completed forms and signed cases where the firm's intake data permits. We explain that process on the page labeled How we work.

Four questions to ask about a case study
- Which tool produced the number, and could you check it yourself with access to the account?
- What were the exact start and end dates, and are the two windows the same length?
- How big was the starting point? 166 clicks becoming 1,559 is real growth, and it is also growth from a small base.
- Does the result count searches for the firm's own name, and does the agency say how many?
We go into more detail about this in our guide for how to choose a law firm SEO company. To see how your own site stands first, start out by checking a free SEO and AI search audit or learn how we look at law firm SEO and law firm website design.
Case study questions
Yours isn’t here? Ask our team
Where do the numbers in GLP's case studies come from?
Studies using data from Google Search Console were conducted for both Westview Law and Burg & Brock. We pulled data on September 26, 2026, and each document names the website and specifies the date range and metric used. For the Onyx Law Group, Cali Lemon Lawyers and The Bail Boys studies, however, data is older. They report screenshots from Search Console taken at that time and we have not redownloaded this data.
Why do you report clicks instead of traffic or leads?
Google tracks clicks in Search Console and anyone who has access to an account can look at them. Leads and signed cases matter more but rely on firm intake and customer relationship management (CRM) data which we do not share unless clients give permission. Thus newer research focuses on metrics that Google measures and says directly that clicks are not equal to clients.
Are these results typical?
No. Every market, practice area and starting point is different, and individual results vary. Most of these businesses started from a small base, which makes growth look large as a multiple. Past results don't guarantee future outcomes.
Can I verify a result before hiring GLP?
Ask us on a strategy call. We can show you the data behind newer studies from Google Search Console with client permission. We can also go through monthly work we did. Any agency should be willing to show you where numbers they use come from to help sell their services.
Why is a bail bonds company on a law firm marketing site?
The Bail Boys isn't a law firm, but bail bonds search works a lot like legal search: urgent, local and phone-driven. We list it with its 2022 date and source so you can weigh it for what it is.
