The Client
A personal injury firm in Los Angeles
Burg & Brock represents people hurt in car, truck, motorcycle and rideshare crashes, as well as dog bites, burns, falls and other injuries, and families in wrongful death cases. The firm works from offices in the Los Angeles area.
The Challenge
One page, one way in
In mid-2025, burgbrock.com was a single landing page with a phone number and a consultation form. From June to August 2025, Search Console shows 452 clicks, all of them to the homepage. Every click Google reported with a search term came from a search that included the firm's name.
Injury cases often start with a search like "car accident lawyer" plus a city, or a question about what a claim is worth. With one page, the firm had nothing that could rank for those searches.
What GLP Did
From one page to a full site
December 2025 to May 2026: planning and build
Built the new site on a staging server: practice pages, about 127 pages pairing a city with a practice area, 83 Spanish-language pages, office pages, attorney pages and articles.
June 2, 2026: launch
Replaced the old landing page with the new site, with hreflang tags linking the English and Spanish pages, structured data for the firm and its services, attorney bylines, and the attorney advertising disclosure.
June to September 2026: content and fixes
Fixed redirect and soft-404 problems, published new articles and refreshed older ones on wrongful death claims, settlement values and filing deadlines, and put out a press release on California's SB 371 rideshare insurance law.

The Results
From 452 to 1,774 summer clicks
Monthly clicks were between 107 and 205 through the rest of 2025 and between 227 and 304 from January to May 2026. After the new site went live they reached 441 in June, 635 in July and 698 in August.
The homepage is no longer the only way in. From June to August 2026, 1,191 clicks went to other pages. The most-clicked of those is an article on average car accident settlements in California, with 289 clicks.

What these numbers do and don't show
- Most searches Google names are still for the firm: 418 of the 572 clicks with a reported search term in June to August 2026 included the firm's name. Google doesn't report the search term for the other 1,202 clicks, so their split is unknown.
- Impressions grew much faster than clicks (4,526 to 1,077,357) because hundreds of new pages now appear in results, many below the top few spots. Average position stayed about the same (13.3 and 13.0), and click-through rate fell from 9.99% to 0.16%.
- Clicks aren't clients. This page reports unpaid Google Search data only and makes no claim about calls, leads or cases.

No. Results depend on the firm, the market and the starting point, and individual results vary. Burg & Brock started from a one-page site, so much of the change comes from having pages that can rank at all.
Comparing the same months a year apart removes seasonal swings. June to August 2025 is before GLP started; June to August 2026 is the first three months of the new site.
