The Client

An employment firm in Los Angeles

Westview Law takes cases for workers: wrongful termination, discrimination and harassment under California's Fair Employment and Housing Act, retaliation, disability accommodation, and unpaid wages. The office is on Century Park East in Los Angeles.

The Challenge

A new site that only people who knew the firm could find

GLP started with Westview Law in December 2025 and launched a new site for the firm in January 2026. Through the spring it brought in 46 to 62 Google clicks a month. Almost all of them landed on the homepage, the attorney pages or the firm page, which is what you'd expect when most visitors already know the name.

People who search for help after losing a job don't type a firm's name. They type the problem: fired after medical leave, an employer that won't accommodate work restrictions, what a wrongful termination case is worth. The site had few pages that answered those questions.

What GLP Did

A new site, then a bigger one

December 2025 to February 2026: launch and tracking

Built and launched the new website (live in January 2026), set up CallRail call tracking and connected it to the firm's CRM, prepared the Google Business Profile, and set up the firm's social profiles.

May 28, 2026: the rebuild

Relaunched the site at 95 pages, up from 38. New pages included 10 city pages, 10 practice and topic pages, 12 articles, 2 long guides, 4 case results pages, 3 attorney bios and a 27-term employment law glossary, all with structured data.

June to September 2026: content and fixes

Kept adding articles and practice pages, fixed schema, robots.txt and sitemap issues, rebuilt the main practice pages, redesigned the homepage contact form and added live chat.

The Results

From 166 to 1,559 clicks a quarter

Clicks rose every month after the rebuild: 271 in June, 531 in July and 757 in August. September was on the same track, with 578 clicks through the 24th.

The new clicks come from the questions people ask when a job goes wrong. After the homepage (242 clicks), the most-clicked pages from June to August were an article on being fired over work restrictions (191 clicks), one on being fired after FMLA leave (92) and a guide to failure-to-accommodate claims in California (72).

What these numbers do and don't show

  • The domain is new. Search Console data starts on January 16, 2026, so this compares the site before and after the May rebuild, not the firm before and after GLP.
  • The starting point was small. 166 clicks in three months is a low base, and growth from a low base looks large as a multiple.
  • Impressions grew faster than clicks (about 26 times vs 9.4 times) because many new pages show up on page one or two for research-type searches. Click-through rate fell from 1.37% to 0.49%.
  • Clicks aren't clients. This page reports search data only. It makes no claim about calls, leads or cases, and paid ads (run by another agency) aren't counted.
